Questions about your future together

A shared future rarely arrives by accident — it gets built out loud, one honest conversation at a time. Yet most couples talk logistics far more often than direction: “what’s for dinner” gets asked daily, while “what are we building” goes almost unasked.

These questions make room for the second kind. Some are small — an adventure before the year is out. Some are large — the title of your next chapter. All of them work best said aloud, before life decides on your behalf.

  1. If we could describe our 'team mission' as a couple in one sentence, what would it be?
  2. If our relationship was a physical sanctuary—a room or a garden—what would it look like, and what is the one rule for anyone who enters?
  3. What is the 'shared dream' that feels the most vibrant in your heart right now? What is the first small brick we can lay for it this week?
  4. What is one thing you're excited for us to explore together in our next month of the ritual?
  5. What is one dream for our future that requires us to be 'financial teammates' right now?
  6. If our life five years from now felt like a quiet success, what is the first detail you'd want to see in that picture?
  7. What is a dream you've been afraid to say out loud because it might ask a lot of us? Say it anyway.
  8. Is there a direction our life has been drifting that you'd want us to gently steer differently this year?
  9. What is one adventure, big or small, you want to make sure we do together before this year is out?
  10. If we could grow into one new thing together as a couple this season, what would you want it to be?
  11. What does 'home' look like to you a decade from now—not the building, but the feeling inside it?
  12. What is a goal of your own you'd love for me to be more of a teammate on right now?
  13. If the next chapter of our life had a title, what would you want it to be?

Union asks you one of these each week — free.
